Where can I buy the wheelchair lift?
Ascension sells direct as the manufacturer from Tucson, AZ. The Ascension vertical portable and fixed wheelchair lifts ship as fully assembled products; there is no installation.
What is the availability?
Our standard availability is 30 days after receipt of order. Please inform us if you have a specific event for which you need a lift, as we can usually accommodate immediate shipment requirements (2 weeks or less, subject prior to sales).
Do you sell a wheelchair lift for the home market?
The Ascension vertical portable and fixed wheelchair lifts (including our Protégé low-rise model) are not designed for residential use, but rather for use in public and commercial building accommodations.
Do you make a fixed version of your wheelchair lift?
Yes, Ascension manufactures a permanently-installed vertical wheelchair lift (Ascension Virtuoso 5460F) for use in any type of construction work.
Do you have a wheelchair lift that has a maximum rise of less than 60"?
Yes, Ascension manufactures a low-rise vertical portable wheelchair lift (Ascension Protégé 5442P) that reaches 42".
What does the standard Ascension warranty cover?
Ascension offers the premier warranty package for vertical portable wheelchair lifts on the market today. The Ascension product line has an established track record of superior long term performance and reliability. Factory-direct technical assistance is also available from the Engineering staff at Ascension.
Can the Ascension wheelchair lift be used in Europe?
At this time, only the Ascension Virtuoso vertical portable wheelchair lift is CE marked for distribution in the European Union. The Ascension Protégé vertical portable wheelchair lift is expected to be CE marked in the 1st Quarter of 2012.
